Ø  What is computer network? Write its any two advantages.
=Connecting two or more computers using cable or wireless technologies for the purpose of resources sharing, data and information transfer etc is called computer network. It's advantages are:
v  Data and information can be shared.
v  Data processing is faster
v  Data processing is economic

Ø  What is network architecture? Write its types.
=Network architecture is an interaction behavior or model which defines how the computer on the network interact and communicate each other. It's types are:
-          Client/ Server network architecture
-          Peer-to-peer network architecture
                                          
Ø  What is meant by network topology? write its types.
=Network topology is the interconnection pattern of computers in the network. It's types are:
a.       Bus Topology        b. Star Topology          c. Ring Topology         d. Mesh Topology

Ø  Draw and explain about bus topology.
= This is a type of network topology in which, all the computer are connected to a common cable called bus or trunk. In which network topology, if the common cable brakes, it affects the whole network.

Ø  Differentiate between star and ring topology.

-          This is a type of network topology in which all the computer are connected to a main server.
-          This is a types of topology in which one computer is connected with other.
-          High data transmission is possible in star topology.
-          High data transmission is not possible in ring topology.
-          If any of the local computer fail, the remaining portion of network is unaffected.
-          If any of the local computer  fails, the remaining portion of network is affected.

Ø  What is internet? List its services.
=The global network of computer in which million of computer are connected all over the world is called internet. it's services are:
a. Online banking        b. Online shopping      c. Communication       d. Online Education

Ø  Write the advantage and disadvantage of Mesh Topology.
Advantage:
-          Mesh is a reliable topology because any link failure will not affect  entire network.
-          Each nod of the network need not have individual routing capabilities in this topology.
-          The communication between two nodes of mesh topology is very fast.
-          The failure of a device does not affect the data transmission to the destination device.
Disadvantage:
-          This is one of the expensive network system in term of linking cost.
-          This topology is very difficult to install/ setup.
-          This topology is also difficult to reconfigure.

Ø  What is web browser? Name any two common browser software.
=Web browser is a special type of software which are needed to access resources on the internet. They are: Internet explorer, Google chrome.

Ø  What is ISP? List any two popular ISPs of Nepal.
=Internet Service Provider is a company that provides Internet service to the user. Two popular ISPs of Nepal are:
a.       Ncell          B. NTC
