=Spreadsheet is a software package that accepts data in
tabular form in rows and columns. It's
two examples are: Visi Calc and Ms-Excel.

=Microsoft Excel is one of the popular and widely used
spreadsheet software developed by Microsoft Corporation USA. It's two versions
are : Ms Excel 2003 and Ms Excel 2007 .

=A formula is a sequence of values, cell references, and
operators that produces a new value from existing values.

After inserting formula, press Enter key to conform it.

What is the fill handle? What is its use?
= Fill handle is a small black square that appears at the
bottom right corner of the selected cell. It is use to automatically copy and
fill them with a series without using copy command.

=Shorting is the process of arranging worksheet data in
alphanumeric order.

What are operators?
List the logical operators used in Ms-Excel.
=The operators are the mathematical symbols that lie between
different operands (Value) to perform tasks.

=Functions are the built in formulas or readymade
expressions which allows performing any calculation quickly and easily.
Functions used in excel are: MIN function, MAX function, PRODUCT function, IF
functions etc.

What is chart? Write the use of legend and gridlines in
chart.
= Chart is the graphical presentation of numeric data in the
worksheet.
Legend: It is used to describe
each of the data series.
Gridlines: It is used to display for both axes to help
read the value of individual data points.
