= Computer virus is the software program that have the ability to clone itself and can operate without knowledge or desire of the computer user. They are: I love you, Aids etc.

Ø  Write down any four symptoms of computer virus.
v  Viruses reduce the memory space of computer.
v  Viruses change the size of computer files.
v  Viruses change the extension of files.
v  viruses may hang or shutdown the computer automatically, while working

Ø  Write down some prevention measures from viruses.
v  Installing latest antivirus on the computer and updating it regularly.
v  Scanning the computer and external storage regular basis.
v  Locking the computer using strong password.
v  Check the new software for virus before installing it.

Ø  What is antivirus software? Give two examples of antivirus software.
= Antivirus is a computer program that is used to scan, delete and remove viruses from the computer system. They are: Norton antivirus, Kaspersky anti virus

Ø  Mention the sources of spreading computer virus.
= Sources of spreading computer viruses are:
-          Internet     - Email             -  Pen drive (USB drive)                     - External Hard disk
-          Pirated software    -CD/DVD
